What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

Millions of people already know Botox® Cosmetic - a nonsurgical treatment that helps temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines between the brows.

Botox® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (i.e. glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (i.e. temporary).

Botox® Cosmetic treatment is a quick procedure that requires no downtime or recovery - it's often called a lunchtime procedure.

With a very few tiny injections, Botox® Cosmetic blocks nerve impulses to the muscles in your forehead reducing their movement. This decreased muscle activity helps lessen the appearance of frown lines between the brows for real, noticeable results.

  • Juvederm® Ultra

Juvederm Ultra is the smooth gel filler that your doctor uses to instantly smooth away wrinkles around your mouth and nose. With just one treatment, you'll get smooth and natural-looking results that last up to a year.

Kybella® is an injection used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin, also called "double chin". When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella® destroys fat cells. The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Fat cleared from the treatment area is processed through your body's natural metabolism.

Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 skin resurfacing treatments effectively target both the surface and deeper layers of the skin for a smoother, fresher, younger looking appearance.

The Fraxel DUAL laser has the unique advantage of two treatment modes:

  • 1550: Penetrates deep into the skin layers, specifically targeting concerns such as wrinkles or acne scarring.
  • 1927: Effectively targets sun spots, age spots, and tone and texture, which are more superficial signs of aging.

The treatment will be tailored to your desired outcomes and can even be combined so that you can receive the added benefits of both a superficial and deep laser treatment, both on and off the face.

When do the results appear and how long do they last?

The results are both immediate and progressive. Soon after the treatment, the surface of your skin will feel  softer and smoother, look brighter, and show a more even skin tone. Results are long lasting depending on your lifestyle, age, skin condition, and skin regimen.

Is it safe?

Laser Fraxel treatments are a safe option backed by extensive research. As with any laser procedure, there is always some risk and/or downtime. You should discuss this with your clinician prior to treatment.

Laser Hair Removal is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures in the U.S. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. As the pigments in the follicles absorb the light, the hair is destroyed.

Laser IPL is a procedure designed for problems with facial veins and brown spots. This vascular laser is able to just remove blood vessels, spider veins, and red marks causing no tissue effect or damage to any other elements of the surrounding skin. The laser beam targets the blood vessels and seals them up. Intense pulsed light or photo rejuvenation is a device that can be used to treat facial redness and tiny blood vessels.

The Liposonix treatment is a non-surgical fat reduction procedure that can get rid of targeted fat cells around your waistline. The treatment is completed in just one office visit and lasts about 3 - 4 hours. With little to no downtime or aftercare, you can resume your active lifestyle right away.

Microdermabrasion refers to mechanically exfoliating the superficial layers of the skin using particles or a rough surface with the use of a tool while simultaneously creating suction for stimulation.

A therapy called microneedling is where a device delivers tiny needle pricks to stimulate the skin's natural healing processes. It can minimize wrinkles and improve the appearance of scars in all skin types and with minimal recovery.

Platelet-rich plasma utilizes the platelets from your blood, which play an important role in clotting blood and healing of injuries. This treatment begins with blood drawn from the patient where the platelets are separated from the other blood cell components through centrifugation. The increased concentration of growth factors in PRP can treat wrinkles, photo damage, and discoloration.

Sclerotherapy 4.jpg

Sclerotherapy effectively treats varicose and spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute to healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.
