WHAT IS IT?
The Rejuvapen microneedling stimulates the skins' natural healing, which increase the collagen and elastin in the skin. The normal healing response begins the moment of tissue injury by the perforations of the micro needles.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentration of platelets in the blood that are crucial to wound healing. When used for skin rejuvenation, PRP releases growth factors into the skin to expedite the body's own repair process and stimulate new collagen and elastin.

DOES IT HURT?
Microneedling feels similar to sandpaper being moved across the skin. Topical numbing may be applied prior to your procedure.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The skin will be red and flushed, similar to a mild or moderate sunburn for 12 hours to 3 days. Youmay also experience mild swelling, tightness, and/or peeling. Side effects are temporary and typically resolve within 3 days. Total healing time depends on the depth of the treatment, the skin type, and skin condition.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WITH PRP?
With the additional PRP therapy, a small blood sample is taken from your own body and the PRP is separated from the other components. The PRP is then topically applied to the skin immediately following a microneedling procedure. The micro channels created by microneedling provide direct pathways to the deeper layers of skin for optimal wound healing. Microneedling with PRP application is an ideal treatment for smoothing fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and even increasing plumpness of the skin.
HOW MANY DO I NEED?
A series of 3 - 6 treatments spaced 4 - 6 weeks apart is ideal for optimal results.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Patients typically notice an immediate glow, but visible improvement will take about 2 - 4 weeks and can continue for up to 6 months.
